Banner Engineering DS18VP6LPQ5 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for retro-reflective mode operation. It features an M18 threaded mount and is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and can detect objects up to a distance of 3.5m. The DS18VP6LPQ5 has a quick response time of 2ms and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) for versatile connectivity. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensor is rectangular in shape and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.).
