LE550IQP Description
Banner Engineering LE550IQP is a Class 2 laser displacement sensor/transmitter designed for precise measurement tasks. It operates on a triangulation system with an LCD display for easy setup and TEACH mode for simplified programming. This sensor emits a visible class 2 red laser with a wavelength of 650 nm for displacement detection. It features a rectangular shape with a robust die-cast zinc alloy housing and an acrylic window. The LE550IQP is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It offers protection against overload and short-circuit conditions. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. It can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +55 °C and is rated IP67 and NEMA 6 for protection against dust and water ingress. The LE550IQP provides one analog output (4-20mA) and one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), with a sensing distance of 10cm to 1m.
