LTF24IC2LD Description

Banner Engineering LTF24IC2LD is a Class 2 laser photo-electric distance sensor/transmitter belonging to the LTF series. It features a diffuse time-of-flight system with TEACH mode and emits a visible class 2 red laser with a wavelength of 660 nm. The sensor is housed in a rectangular, die-cast zinc alloy casing with an acrylic window. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc as nominal. It offers a sensing distance from 5cm up to 24m and includes both analog (1 x analog output 4-20mA) and digital outputs (1 x digital output PNP/NPN transistor). The LTF24IC2LD is designed to function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +55 °C and is protected against overload and short-circuit issues. It carries a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, indicating its robustness against dust and water ingress.
