Banner Engineering PBP412UM.5 is a fiber optic sensor designed for diffuse-reflective system applications, featuring a probe tip with a bifurcated fiber in-line sensing mechanism. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and is equipped with a 0.5mm fiber core diameter. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +85°C. The sensor's design includes a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of nickel-plated brass for the sensing end, with the fiber constructed from plastic and the sheath from Polyethylene (PE). It has a length of 6ft / 2m, catering to various installation requirements.
