Banner Engineering PBT46TMB5 is a fiber optic sensor designed with a diffuse-reflective system and features a flexible, bifurcated fiber in-line sensing mechanism. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber (Vantage Line) series and is characterized by a 1mm fiber core diameter. It has a cylindrical (threaded) end tip shape, ensuring compatibility with various installations. The sensing end is made from stainless steel, while the fiber itself is encased in plastic with a stainless flexible tubing fiber sheath for added durability. The total length of the sensor is 6.6ft / 2m, facilitating its integration into a wide range of applications.
