Banner Engineering PIRS1X166UMPM2.2 is a fiber optic sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It operates on a through-beam system, also known as an opposed mode pair of individual fibers, positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. The sensor features a 0.25mm fiber core diameter and is part of the Plastic fiber series. It has a rectangular shape with the sensing end and the fiber made of plastic, while the fiber sheath is constructed from Polyethylene (PE). The total length of the fiber is 6ft or approximately 2 meters. This sensor is engineered to function optimally within an ambient air temperature of up to +70°C.
