PVD225 Description

Banner Engineering PVD225 is a photo-electric array sensor designed for diffuse/retro-reflective sensing modes, modified specifically for automotive applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature of up to +50°C and features a net height of 15 mm, with a rectangular shape. The sensor is housed in aluminum with an acrylic clear window, measuring 225mm in array length, 30 mm in width, and 267 mm in depth. It offers a pre-wired connection with a 6" / 150mm PVC cable pigtail terminated with a 5-pin M12 connector. The PVD225 operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a degree of protection rated at IP62 NEMA 2. Its sensing distance reaches up to 2m in retro-reflective mode and 400mm in diffuse mode, with light colors available in green and red. The operating modes include NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed), with a wavelength of 525 nm and 625 nm. It features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and has a current consumption of 88mA / 0.088 A.
