Banner Engineering Q14RP6RQ-55420 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the receiver component in an opposed mode setup. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and is housed in a black, thermoplastic casing with a glass lens. It features a compact rectangular shape with dimensions of 30 mm in height, 8 mm in width, and 14 mm in depth. The Q14RP6RQ-55420 is equipped with a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector, facilitating straightforward installation. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and offers a sensing distance of up to 1.8 meters. The sensor emits infrared light at a wavelength of 880 nm and features a single digital output (PNP transistor) with a response time of 8ms (0.008 seconds). It is designed to operate in a Dark-ON mode and is protected to IP54 and NEMA 4 standards, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions.
