Q26NLUMQ5 Description

Banner Engineering Q26NLUMQ5 is a compact luminescence sensor within the Q26 Luminescence series, designed for detecting materials that luminesce under ultraviolet (UV) light. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C and features a TEACH mode for easy setup. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for quick installation. The Q26NLUMQ5 is housed in a thermoplastic with a polycarbonate (PC) lens and a PVC connector, ensuring durability. It offers a sensing distance of 10 to 30mm and operates with a light color of ultraviolet (UV) at a wavelength of 375 nm. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) for signaling. It requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and boasts a rapid response time of 0.25ms / 0.00025 s. The device is protected to a degree of IP67, making it suitable for use in various industrial environments.
