Banner Engineering Q453E is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an emitter alone. It features an M30 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55 °C. This sensor is part of the Q45VR3 series and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy connection. It supports a wide supply voltage range, accepting 24Vac-250Vac (with 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac as nominal values) and 12Vdc-250Vdc (with 24Vdc, 48Vdc, and 120Vdc as nominal values), making it versatile for various power setups. The Q453E boasts an IP67 NEMA 6P degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, and it is capable of sensing distances up to 60m. The sensor utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm for detection.
