Banner Engineering QS186EQ-64500 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an emitter alone within the QS18 series. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, facilitating straightforward connection. It boasts a robust thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. The QS186EQ-64500 offers a sensing distance of up to 20 meters and utilizes infrared (IR) light for detection. It is designed to operate on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. This sensor is protected against ingress with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating, indicating a high degree of protection against dust and water.
