Banner Engineering QS18EP6LP W/30 is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the QS18 Expert series, designed for retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. It offers a sensing distance of up to 3.5m and utilizes visible red light for detection. The QS18EP6LP W/30 supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and provides a single digital output via a PNP transistor. With a rapid response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s, it is suitable for a variety of applications. This sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is protected to IP67 NEMA 6 standards, ensuring resilience in challenging environments.
