QS18UPA W/30 Description

Banner Engineering QS18UPA W/30 is an ultrasonic distance sensor belonging to the QS18U series. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. This sensor is designed with a time-of-flight system and TEACH mode for precise distance measurement. It comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connectivity. The QS18UPA W/30 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environments. It requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The sensor has a rectangular shape and is constructed with an ABS housing for robustness. It operates at a 300kHz transmission frequency and can sense distances ranging from 50 to 500mm. Additionally, it is equipped with 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) and includes protection functions against short-circuiting.
