QS18VP6R Description
Banner Engineering QS18VP6R is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications with an opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is part of the QS18 series and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. The QS18VP6R operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, and it can detect objects up to 20m away. The sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s.
