R55FV Description

Banner Engineering R55FV is an amplifier for sensors, specifically designed for color contrast fib. optic sensor amplification. It features a DIN rail mount for easy installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. This part is equipped with TEACH mode tailored for plastic fibers and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating straightforward connection. As part of the R55F series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environments. The R55FV operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and is housed in a rectangular, thermoplastic casing reinforced with glass fiber. It offers a sensing distance of 28mm and utilizes visible red light for detection. Additionally, it includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) for versatile application in automation systems.
