S18-2VPFF100-Q8 Description
Banner Engineering S18-2VPFF100-Q8 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor within the S18-2 series, featuring a background suppression system. It is constructed with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Designed for a wide range of ambient air temperatures, it functions between -40 and +70 degrees Celsius. The S18-2VPFF100-Q8 offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The sensor provides one digital output via a PNP transistor and has a sensing distance of 100mm. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and responds in 1.5ms. Additionally, it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
