Banner Engineering SGSXP2-500Q88 is a safety light curtain designed for long-range applications within the SGS series. This product features an emitter and receiver pair housed in aluminum with Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lenses and thermoplastic end caps. It is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The safety light curtain offers a protective height of 500mm and comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The device is rated with an IP65 degree of protection, ensuring its durability against dust and water ingress. The net dimensions are 52mm in width, 607mm in height, and 57mm in depth. It features 2 beams with a 500mm beam spacing/pitch and includes 2 digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) for enhanced safety measures.
