Turck BC5-M18-AP4X-H1141/S250 is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-M18 series. This sensor features an embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. It is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing and a sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0). The sensor is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. It has an M18 partially threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The BC5-M18-AP4X-H1141/S250 features a single digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP) with a sensing distance of 5mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The operating mode for this sensor is Normally Open (NO), and it has an M18 thread size.
