SM2A30PRL Description
Banner Engineering SM2A30PRL is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the SM30 series. This sensor operates as the receiver component within an opposed mode "A" modulation frequency system, specifically engineered for washdown environments. It features a thermoplastic housing and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. The SM2A30PRL is designed to work with a supply voltage range of 24Vac to 240Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac and 220Vac. It can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. This sensor is rated with a degree of protection of IP67, NEMA 6P, and IP69K, indicating a high level of protection against dust, water, and high-pressure washdowns. The sensor's shape is an M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output). It has a sensing distance of up to 150 meters and uses infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm. The response time of the sensor is 10ms / 0.01 s, and it operates in Light-ON mode.
