Banner Engineering SM2A312DBZ is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM2A312DBZ offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) and has a sensing distance of 300mm. The sensor emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and has a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
