Banner Engineering VS3RN5XLPQ is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed for retro-reflective mode operation. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing, glass lens, and an acrylic lid cover, ensuring durability and protection with an IP67 and NEMA 6 rating. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and offers a dark-ON NC (Normally Closed) operating mode. The sensor is equipped with a single digital output (NPN transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. For connectivity, it comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector. Its rectangular shape and visible red light, with a wavelength of 680 nm, facilitate precise sensing with a distance of up to 250mm. The VS3RN5XLPQ operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.), making it a versatile component in the VS3 series for various automation applications.
