Banner Engineering VS3RN5XLV is a photo-electric sensor constructed with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for operation in environments with an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C. This sensor operates in a Dark-ON NC (Normally Closed) mode and features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) with a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates at a wavelength of 680 nm, emitting visible red light. It is designed for retro-reflective mode with a sensing distance of 250mm. The VS3RN5XLV requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is part of the VS3 series.
