ABB 1SAM350005R1013 is a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB) designed for thermal-magnetic motor protection. It features manual motor starter protector functionality with screw-clamp connections. The rated current is adjustable between 16A and 20A, with specific ratings under UL/CSA for Full Load Amps (FLA) and Locked Rotor Amperes (LRA) across various voltages (200Vac, 208Vac, 220-240Vac, 440-480Vac, 550-600Vac). It includes Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts and is designed for a supply voltage (AC) of 550-600Vac. The MPCB offers a degree of protection with front-mounted auxiliary contact blocks (1NO+1NC) and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C. It is equipped with a 3-pole (3P) configuration, rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 690V, and an IP20 protection rating. The device has a net width of 97.8mm, power consumption of 6kV, and is colored with a 45mm dimension. It supports a connection capacity of 7.5kW (400/415Vac) and is designed for a network frequency of 50Hz. The MPCB is capable of 50,000 operations, with a mechanical durability of 100,000 operations at no load. It features short circuit protection, phase failure/loss, and thermal overload Class 10 protection, with an operating rate that includes both thermal and magnetic (adjustable) protection mechanisms. The magnetic protection has a short-circuit pickup current fixed at 300A, while the thermal protection allows for an overload setting of 16A to 20A (adjustable). This part mounts on a DIN rail or mounting plate and is designed for use in environments with a climatic resistance of 100,000 operations.
