SM2A312LVAGQD Description
Banner Engineering SM2A312LVAGQD is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage ranging from 24Vac to 240Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac and 220Vac. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C. The SM2A312LVAGQD offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) and can detect objects within a sensing distance of 5cm to 2m. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and has a response time of 4ms (0.004 s), with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
