VS8EANLP Description
Banner Engineering VS8EANLP is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It features a polyurethane (PUR) cable for connectivity and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 °C and can function in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. It is equipped with a single digital output (NPN transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. The VS8EANLP is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy installation. Its rectangular shape is designed for retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. The sensor emits a visible red light at a wavelength of 650 nm and is capable of sensing distances ranging from 10cm to 1.6m.
