Banner Engineering VS8EAPR is a photo-electric sensor characterized by its thermoplastic housing and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, with a polyurethane (PUR) cable. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +60°C. This sensor operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes and features a single digital output (PNP transistor) with a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates at a wavelength of 650 nm, emitting visible red light. It is designed for a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and functions as a through-beam system or opposed mode TEACH mode sensor.
