Banner Engineering VS8EAPLLP is a polarized Class 1 laser photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing and a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It features a polyurethane (PUR) cable for connectivity and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +50 °C and offers both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It is equipped with a single digital output (PNP transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. The VS8EAPLLP comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy installation. Its rectangular shape and visible red light, with a wavelength of 655 nm, facilitate precise detection. Operating on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal), this sensor is designed in a retro-reflective mode with TEACH functionality.
