VS8EAPLPQ Description
Banner Engineering VS8EAPLPQ is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing and a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It features a polyurethane (PUR) cable and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and can function in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. It is equipped with a single digital output (PNP transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. The VS8EAPLPQ comes pre-wired with a 7.5" / 20cm pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy installation. Its rectangular shape is designed for retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. With a sensing distance ranging from 10cm to 1.6m, this sensor emits visible red light at a wavelength of 650 nm. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is part of the VS8 series.
